Educators are able to drop in at any time during clinic hours and receive free support and connection to resources for their individual housing needs, such as application support, financial capacity services and housing counseling via HUD approved nonprofit services providers and attorneys. Service areas include:

Rental Counseling: Access information about Below Market Rate rentals, home sharing and other affordable rental programs.

Home Purchase: HUD approved counselors connect you with Below Market Rate homeownership opportunities and downpayment assistance for you to buy your first home.

Eviction Defense: Legal guidance and advice to help you respond to landlord issues and legal notices.

Landlord/Tenant Support: Legal guidance to help you navigate through landlord/tenant situations.

 

Educators are seen in order of arrival. To expedite the check in process, you may download and complete the following forms in advance: Income Verification Form, Intake Form and Budget. Documents are not required, but you are strongly encouraged to bring:

Legal notices, landlord communications, current lease, household monthly budget, three most recent pay stubs for all household members and credit Report

*San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) educators include professors, teachers, para professionals, counselors, deans, nurses, speech pathologists, psychologists, behavioral analysts, social workers, and librarians, including those who work in the SFUSD Early Education department.
